CONTEXT
As an up-and-coming dinner club gaining traction in NYC, we wanted to confidently reassure users they were in the right place with a compelling online presence through our website while also forming a stronger brand appeal overall.
The current site leaves some room for interpretation and lacks a cohesive storyline across its various pages which has resulted in low average engagement times.

To ensure confidence and trust in the website, I used a photo from one of our events displaying a card with some branding on it paired with large type to boldly showcase our name in the hero section
Improved the use of white space to promote balance and visual focus on each group of elements, decrease distraction and clutter, and enhance the overall aesthetic
Text alignment inconsistency in the original website was fixed in the updated design for uniformity and easy browsing
Since users may be entering the site without a clear understanding of what The Dinner Table offers, we wanted our homepage to describe our event process through distinctly defined steps as opposed to vague titles of what to expect that are currently in use
